This Regional Situation Report comprises the final output of the North East Business Space (NEBS) database and the Regional Business Accommodation Project. The Report has been prepared in two parts:

• Part 1: sets out the current patterns in the regional property market using analysis from the NEBS premises database and assesses the regional supply of employment land based on the analysis of the NEBS sites database.

• Part 2: Sets out some of the lessons learned in setting up and managing the NEBS Database and makes recommendations about how it might be maintained in the future.
