Bryan has more than 20 years’ consultancy experience in the fields of economic development and regeneration.  He began his career at the Northern Development Company (a forerunner to One North East) in the Economic Research Office in 1992, before leaving with colleagues to join a Newcastle-based private sector consultancy firm in 1994. In 2001, Bryan joined the Regeneration Division at Northumberland County Council to help establish the Northumberland Information Network – a unique partnership venture designed to meet the research and information needs of local partners. Since 2007, Bryan has been operating as a freelance research consultant, largely (although not exclusively) delivering contracts for North East-based clients.

At all times, Bryan seeks to provide a quality and value-for-money service which aims to exceed client expectations. This is achieved by treating all contracts individually, adopting a creative approach to delivery and by forming professional working relationships with clients.

Bryan has experience of working in partnership as part of multi-discipline consultancy teams. Bryan can draw on a wide range of associates and researchers in the North East and further afield in order to access specialist or additional local knowledge to meet client needs.
